From Texas To LA: Cameron Rostami Takes Inspiration From Music And Movies

Originally from Dallas, Cameron Rostami grew up surrounded by the rich music scene of North Texas, inundated with all types of underground music perfect for house shows. With a history in bands ranging from Post-Rock, to Experimetal, to fully classical, Cam Rostami has managed to find roots and inspiration in all kinds of music. Perhaps most important to his musical influence is his experience as a filmmaker. His work as an actor with filmmakers such as the Coen Brothers and Robert Tinnell have lead him down a path of endlessly chasing the cinematic sound. Having the chance to work with amazing established industry pioneers in the world of film has lead Cam Rostami into the same territory with his music. In 2020, Cam Rostami lives and works in Los Angeles where he chases his passion of movies and the music that goes along with it. He attempts to capture in his music the cinematic quality that is so hard to put your finger on.
