With a desire to promote and expose independent and alternative artists The New Music Food Truck debuted their first show in May 2018. With a background in radio and production, the show is the brainchild of music lovers and brothers Jim Edwards and Aaron Zytle. Behind the mic, you’ll find host Zytle showcasing in-depth and fresh interviews with artists on each show with Edwards producing.

On the menu for the week on March 2 through March 8 is a tribute to female artists in honor of International Women’s Day. The show features new music from Arlo Parks, Cloe Wilder, The Staves, The Blossom, JPOLAND, Dessa, Flock of Dimes, Ella K Sol, Suzi Quatro, Deap Valley, Ora the Molecule, and Sophia McGlew with a special interview with Nancy Wilson of Heart. “It’s tough to get your music heard on the radio when your independent and even harder for women in a male-dominated industry. The New Music Food Truck showcases independent music and with so much of it being created by women, we felt their music deserved an even brighter spotlight.
