ZZ Top brought their famous Texas rock-n-roll power trio to New Jersey’s PNC Bank Arts Center. With the band being together for nearly 50 years now, they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill were on fire for the entire evening, playing note for note, trading licks and interacting with the crowd. They played all of the greatest hits that fans wanted to hear, such as Got Me Under Pressure, Gimme All Your Lovin’, Cheap Sunglasses, La Grange and Tush. What made the show unique was the double encore. A lot of bands these days will do a one song encore. However, that was not enough for ZZ Top as they did a total of three songs across two encores. The final song of the night was nothing less than Elvis Presley’s Jailhouse Rock. Make sure to catch ZZ Top in a town near you.
