New Jersey alternative, post-rock band Gates has debuted a breathtaking new video for their song “Not My Blood” t. The song is featured on the band’s upcoming album, Bloom & Breathe, which is due out on Pure Noise Records on October 21st. Gates’ first new track from their upcoming record is an epic journey that travels through peaks and valleys of post-rock bliss. Ethereal guitars soon crescendo into a massive wall of sound that crashes down on listeners, all while Kevin Dye maintains a pop-sensibility with wrenching, heartfelt vocals.
Bloom & Breathe was co-produced by Dye and Mike Watts (As Tall As Lions, As Cities Burn) at Vudu Studios in Port Jefferson, NY. The record showcases the band’s growth and skillful songwriting on 13 lush and beautifully crafted tracks.
