Festival Preview: Countdown to Pitchfork

In one week, Chicago’s very own Pitchfork Music Festival returns to Union Park for its 12th year. With 40+ acts spread across three stages, Pitchfork strives to bring its 50,000 attendees a unique musical experience at a reasonable price. Last year, fans came out to hear sets from artists including FKA Twigs, Anderson .Paak, Beach House, Car Seat Headrest, Blood Orange, and The Hotelier. This year, fans look forward to sets from LCD Soundsystem, Vince Staples, Francis and the Lights, A Tribe Called Quest, Jamila Woods, and Solange. However, attendees will not only be immersed in the best new music, but will be able to experience over 50 vendors and specialty fairs throughout the festival. Pitchfork strives to shine the spotlight on Chicago artists and vendors, bringing forth a sense of community while promoting local businesses.

Pitchfork will take place in Union Park on July 14-16. Further Festival Info can be found here. Tickets can be purchased here.
