Tali Febland- Straight Lines

I’m thrilled to share this review for 2023 single, “Straight Lines.” This project has truly been a labor of love, bringing together a remarkable team of friends and musicians I’ve met along my journey since rekindling my passion for music in the summer of 2022.

Originally conceived in London while jamming with my friend Fred Fuller, (Night Movies )the song took shape with his infectious loop on the baritone guitar. Over time, it underwent reworking and rearranging collaborating with Richard Hyman (Final Witness) at Up_Beat Rock Academy and finally co-produced at Rock Hard Studios by James Routh. The talented ensemble of James, Richard, Morgan Marshall, and Richard Curran brought the composition to life through their exceptional performances. I have loved working with all these musicians. The singles I will be releasing over the next coming months all have the same common ground, lots of found objects replacing standard percussion so headphone listeners will enjoy the lovely ASMR on this track.
