Revenge Of The Road: morgxn

Fresh off the release of MERIDIAN: vol 2, morgxn’s extensive new EP addresses the highs and low which we have all felt over the past two years. The hyper-pop alternative nature of morgxn’s sound has caught the attention of Billie Eilish and has created space for collaborations with Sara Bareilles and more. Currently on tour with Smallpools, morgxn spoke to Music Existence to discuss life back on the road and the importance of good coffee while traveling.

1. Best advice for life on the road?

morgxn: Choose one comfort ritual. For me it’s making my own coffee. I have upped my travel rig into something that every morning I have a personal ritual with my coffee. It’s a meditation. A gift, and a reset. It brings home with me wherever I go.

2. Go-to road trip song?

morgxn: “On The Road Again,” Willie Nelson.

3. You can bring any new band with you on tour, who’s coming?

morgxn: Madi Diaz.

4. What’s something about touring you never thought you’d miss but did over lockdown?

morgxn: Weird gas station trinkets.

5. Who will YOU be catching live this year?

morgxn: Taylor Swift, MUNA, Arca.
