Wavves announce fall North American tour

Yesterday, Wavves announced their Fall North American tour. Kicking off October 1st in Las Vegas, the headlining tour will see Wavves play thirty-eight shows including stops in Dallas, Miami, Brooklyn, Chicago, Portland, and more, before concluding the run on November 20th in San Diego. Pre-sale tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 4th at noon EST with general tickets on sale Friday, August 6th at 10 am local time.

This tour announcement follows the new album Hideaway out now via Fat Possum Records with today marking the 11th anniversary of King of the Beach, which was the last time Wavves released with Fat Possum. Produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, Hideaway is the follow-up to Wavves’ 2017 album, You’re Welcome, and arrives after Consequence of Sound named them one of the 100 Best Pop Punk Bands of all time. Vocalist Nathan Williams’ and his brother, Joel also have a project, Sweet Valley, on Patreon where the duo creates a remix for every Sopranos episode strictly using sounds from that episode. Subscribers to the Patreon get access to the songs as well as art, behind-the-scenes footage of their process, merchandise, and audio stems.
