There are some days when it feels like nothing is working out the way you hoped and quitting seems far more appealing than pushing forward. LA indie-pop band Coat Check Girl‘s new single “Hunter” is all about not throwing in the towel early and not staying down for very long.
“It’s about not giving up and keep moving forward,” says vocalist Andre Rodriguez. “Sometimes things go to shit and I feel like just quitting everything, but then something happens that makes me wanna keep on going.“
The track was produced by Rodriguez and Ruben Castro, with mastering handled by Scott Levitin (The Head and the Heart, Brian Wilson).
