Acclaimed rock/pop/soul singer Juliet Simms returns with her first new song in over 2 years. “Take Me” is a heartfelt ballad that showcases Juliet’s vocal abilities. These abilities are what led Juliet to be the runner up on Season 2 of NBC’s The Voice. The video for “Take Me” premiered on Vevo and was one of their featured New Releases and added to the Pure Pop playlist. The video, directed by Josh Schultz, shows Juliet reflecting on true love and imagery of her relationship with husband Andy Biersack are spread throughout the clip. The video for “Take Me” can be seen here.
“Take Me” comes on the heels of 2016’s From The Grave EP, which spawned the singles “Say Hello” and “Trouble Finds You.” The song has been added to digital streaming services including Apple Music and Spotify. Spotify embraced the song adding it to their Rockin’ Vibes, Fierce Femmes and New Noise playlists and can be heard here.
Juliet Simms has been driven to make music for as long as she can remember. The love for songs and songwriting was the only career she ever saw herself pursuing. In a cultural landscape littered with the wreckage of disposable songs and even more forgettable cartoonlike personalities, the music of Juliet Simms shines like a lighthouse in the fog. The singer/songwriter is armed with an instantly identifiable voice rich with character, depth, and experience. She brings a timeless essence to the modern age with songs that are both classic and forward thinking. Simms purposefully draws on a deep well of classic rock, grunge, blues, and Motown, with a unique edge distinctly of her own creation. When not working on music, she is busy developing her jewelry line, Never Take It Off.
Juliet is currently working on new music with acclaimed producer John Feldmann for an album to be released in the near future.
