Ray is a new rising country star with 100+ songs.  Watch  out, this boy is going to hit big time. And if he does, these  CD’s will become a collector’s item.  Ray and Tammie sing  his songs so beautifully, bringing country sound to a new  level. Born in Georgia, Ray grew up in Tennessee.  After serving  in the United States Air Force, he has been a truck driver  most of his life.  Many of his songs were written going down the highway in an 18 wheeler.  While in the Air  Force, like so many others, Ray got a Dear John letter from  his hometown sweetheart which made him start writing  songs.  Ray has always been kind of shy and never really  wanted fame and fortune.  He says that when he was young, he couldn’t have handled the temptation of women (ha-ha).Ray is a new rising country star with 100+ songs.  Watch  out, this boy is going to hit big time. And if he does, these  CD’s will become a collector’s item.  Ray and Tammie sing  his songs so beautifully, bringing country sound to a new  level. After serving in the United States Air Force, he was a truck driver most of his life. Many of his songs were written going down the highway in an 18 wheeler. While in the Air Force, like so many others, Ray got a ‘Dear John’ letter from his hometown sweetheart which made him start writing songs. Ray has always been a little shy and never really wanted fame and fortune.  He says that when he was young, he couldn’t have handled the temptation of women (LOL). Ray just wants to let the world know about his music. One thing is true, Ray is not shy about performing, he loves it.

When you listen to Hopper Valley and it’s like traveling back in time with country music. It’s the raw soulful kind that makes your heart melt as the lyrics hit your ears for the first time and with the old classic country sound. Ray and Tammie’s voices sound like they were made to sing together.

Reading about their background and why they started music in the first place makes the pleasure of listening to them even greater. Listening to Hopper Valley just puts me in a good mood, and makes me want to give hugs to everyone I love.

Over-all, I really enjoyed listening to these two. They put my soul in a happy place. They make you appreciate your life and love the people you are with, and anyone who can do that through a song deserves a thumbs up in my book.
