Singer Alexa Ferr has released a music video for her new single, NO GOOD!
For the new tune, the Canadian-born 19-year-old “Rugged Pop” artist brings back an ‘old school’ sound from the 90’s, mixed with new beats/harmonies, that tells the relatable story of boys trying to flirt with girls who give in even though they are just “no good”.
NO GOOD was co-written by Ferr and produced by the popular Los Angeles-based production team, The Invaders (Dawn Richard, Josh Levi, Blake McGrath, Ashley Roberts).
About Alexa Ferr
R&B/Pop artist Alexa Ferr was born in 1995 and raised in Toronto, Canada. At just the age of 19, she has already made a name for herself, with media outlets globally coining her as the “Rugged Popstar”!
With over 8 years experience in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and contemporary dance, Alexa is also a triple threat. Using her acting and dance skills to land an extra role in Disney’s Camp Rock 2 alongside The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, Alexa proceeded to record her first single, FELL, which featured Disney star Matthew “Mdot” Finley, who was also featured in the movie.
After success with her first single, in September 2013 Alexa released her debut EP entitled, LIPSTICK ON THE GLASS, which caught the attention of renown celebrity photographer and director Walid Azami, who created Alexa’s video for the title EP track.
Now 19-years-old and living in Los Angeles, CA, Alexa has released her first American single, NO GOOD, alongside songwriting and production duo, The Invaders. She is currently working with a variety of producers in the studio and has plans to release more music later in 2014 and early 2015, in addition to writing songs for other artists.
When not performing at prestigious venues such as The Viper Room in West Hollywood, the Tiki Bar in New Port Beach, CA, and the famed House of Blues in Hollywood, Alexa enjoys exploring and experiencing the culture of various cities/people, writing/recording new songs with friends, and getting involved with charity organizations.
