Yungblud to perform in Belgrade, Serbia for the first time

Award-winning artist YUNGBLUD is set to grace the stage at Hangar in Belgrade, Serbia on June 13th this year. Renowned for his contagious energy, punk ethos, and anthemic pop resonance, YUNGBLUD firmly establishes dance-oriented rock within the contemporary musical landscape.

His work not only boasts pop sensibility but also encapsulates the unfiltered honesty of an artist unafraid to tackle the prevailing issues of his generation, including gentrification, challenging upbringings, and political corruption.

Beyond his musical pursuits, YUNGBLUD actively engages in advocacy, focusing on pertinent social issues, notably mental health. This commitment has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by critical acclaim and widespread audience recognition. In 2022, his sophomore album, “weird,” achieved gold certification, while his presence on Spotify boasts over 6 million monthly listeners and a staggering 3 billion global streams. His latest eponymous project, released in 2022 under Geffen, offers an additional layer of insight into YUNGBLUD’s artistic vision, showcasing an unabashed appreciation for sonic elements of older sounds. The lead single, “Tissues,” co-written with The Cure’s legendary frontman, Robert Smith, exemplifies the artist’s successful collaborations. In addition to collaborations with contemporaries like Machine Gun Kelly and WILLOW, YUNGBLUD’s versatility is underscored by a noteworthy collaboration with the iconic Ozzy Osbourne.

Ticket sale for the upcoming Belgrade show starts on February 2nd at honeycomb-live.com.
