Christian Rich is the collective name for Berlin-based American twins Kehinde Hassan and Taiwo Hassan, who have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, from Childish Gambino to Lil Kim. As often found producing name artists as they are building their beats and making their music, with Work, they remind people that they are as hot and happening as musicians as they are versatile when behind the desk.
This is hip-hop made at the cutting edge, cool, modern, and mature, a blend of skittering beats and shimmering electronica, deep and dark bass pulses, and edgy and euphoric vocal deliveries. It is no wonder that Orchard/Sony have welcomed them to the stable with open arms. Work is their first track for the label, but with more to come, it will prove hard to wait until we hear what else they have up their sleeve.
