Valley Releases Newest Single “nevermind”

Canadian indie-pop gurus Valley, are back with their latest single “nevermind” released via Universal Music Canada. The new song comes as their first release since the success of their debut album Maybe, which was released in three consecutive parts over the course of last year.

The new song is said to be their most pop-oriented track yet, with the final mix coming from Justin Bieber and Dua Lipa collaborator Josh Gudwin. As the band tries to perfect the ultimate “happy and sad song,” drummer and backup vocalist Karah James states that the new single is, “about the cyclical feelings of self-pity, apathy, and being an introvert. It describes wavering between a romanticized version of your life and the ´sad´ reality of it.”

Following two independently released EPs and their major label debut Maybe, Valley has successfully gathered over 40 million streams on Spotify alone. The album’s success saw the band secure touring slots with Lennon Stella, The Band Camino and LovelyTheBand once global touring reopens again.
