Killswitch Engage Release Their First Studio Album With Metal Blade Records “Atonement”

Metalcore heavyweights Killswitch Engage have just released their eight studio album “Atonement” via Metal Blade Records. This is Killswitch Engage‘s first album with Metal Blade Records after signing with the label back in June of 2018 in a press release

Metal Blade’s CEO/founder Brian Slagel commented “I have been a huge fan and friend of Killswitch for a long time, so it is truly an honor to be able to work with them. So happy to welcome them to the Metal Blade family.”

Jesse Leach (vocals) also commented “I’m beyond stoked to sign with the legendary Metal Blade Records and Columbia/Sony Music. It’s clear they truly understand and believe in what we do as a band, and we’re psyched to have them on our side. It’s an exciting new chapter for KSE and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

The band previously last week released the video for their single “I Am Broken Too”. Watch the powerful video here.

“The video is a reflection of real-life events that loved ones have gone through,” says singer Jesse Leach. “Kyle Cogan and Zack Stauffer did an amazing job of bringing it all to life. The result is a powerful video that captures the essence and desperation of the song.”

The band is also donating a portion of the proceeds from the song to Hope for the Day, a Chicago-based non-profit organization that focuses on suicide prevention by providing outreach and mental health education through the use of music and art.

Atonement Track Listings:
1. “Unleashed”
2. “The Signal Fire” [Featuring Howard Jones] 3. “Us Against the World”
4. “The Crownless King” [Featuring Chuck Billy] 5. “I Am Broken Too”
