Anyone concerned with how Bring Me The Horizon‘s amo would deliver in a live setting needn’t worry.
Despite some of the backlash amo has been receiving, I felt that the songs worked remarkably well in a live setting. But then again, I’ve also rather been enjoying Bring Me The Horizon’s evolution with each album. And with a versatile setlist featuring crowd pleasers such as “Avalanche,” “Sleepwalking,” and “Shadow Moses,” the new material was not so much a distraction as a highlight closely representing the band’s growth.
If you’re on the fence about checking out this tour, don’t be. Buy the ticket, enjoy the music. And be sure to get there on time to catch Fever 333 and Thrice’s supporting sets.
In the meantime, check out some of my shots from the first of BMTH’s two-night stand at NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom below.
