Rising star Tommy Genesis debuts “Bad Boy” today on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 on Apple Music—listen here. The song is the latest track to be released from Tommy Genesis’ highly anticipated self-titled debut album set for release this Friday, November 9 on Downtown Records—pre-save/pre-order the album HERE.
Tommy Genesis features previously released tracks “Tommy” and “100 Bad,” which was featured on HBO’s Insecure, Assassination Nation and remixed by Charli XCX. Tommy Genesis is Genesis’ first body of work since the 2015 mixtape World Vision.
Genesis is also sharing the dates for her God is Wild Tour that will take her through Europe and North America in 2019, with stops including the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles, Beat Kitchen in Chicago, Elsewhere in Brooklyn and more.
Of half-Swedish, half-Tamil descent, Genesis was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. Her debut mixtape garnered praise from Vogue, The FADER, Dazed, Elle, W, PAPER and many more, and she recently returned from a string of North American dates with Dua Lipa. In demand in the fashion world, Genesis recently appeared on the cover of London In Stereo and Clash and has performed for Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and more.
