Album Review: The Dirty Mops – In Any Other City

The Dirty Mops a four piece band based out of NYC that consist of Ryan Dain vocals/rhythm guitar, Devon Reed vocals/lead guitar, Drew Richards bass, and David Walter drums. The Dirty Mops debut album “In Any Other City” is a definitive blend of pop culture punk and alternative rock. With both Ryan Dain and Devon Reed as the bands lead frontmen. With both Dain and Reed’s distinctively different vocal styles the album seemed to struggle a bit with the back and forth vocals at times giving you the feeling you were listening to two different bands. The album as a whole holds it’s consistency throughout each track with catchy guitar riffs and energetic up tempo drum beats.
