Gallery and Review: Bloody Beetroots at The Fonda Theater, Hollywood CA 10/29/17

The Bloody Beetroots made a stop on their current tour at The Fonda Theatre on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 in Hollywood CA. – Some will describe this talented band as EDM Dub Step with Rock Beat influences. The master behind this group is “Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo.” Also known as SBCR, a 39-year-old from Bassano del Grappa, Italy. A Producer, musician, DJ, photographer, actor whom plays Guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, synthesizers, vocals. Since 2006 he and his collaborative band members have been creating records and touring.

Recently promoting their current release, “THE GREAT ELECTRONIC SWINDLE” with a US Based tour and heading to Switzerland and Italy in December.

I did not know what to expect when offered to photograph and cover the performance in Hollywood CA. The genre I cover most is Rock, Metal, and Pop. I will tell you, that – their performance blew me away, beyond words, this band is a must see live. Doing my preparation, I had viewed their YouTube videos, but nothing compares to seeing them live. SBCR is all over the stage, offering Air Jumps, running across the top’s of the front monitors, throwing his Bass out to the crowd, to surfing the crowd. Known for their black masks, reminiscent of Spider-Man, Venom, and Grendel, that they wear during performances. Talk about getting the fans moving and grooving, he and his band will bring it full force at Level 10.

The visual performance set aside, the selection of songs played was the perfect formula, for a full night of EDM styled Dubstep / with a slash of Rock flavored backbeats. Robust baselines, tight drum percussions, guitar power cords – backed by some fantastic talent on keys and synthesizer mix. All set inside a beautiful venue at The Fonda Theater in Hollywood, CA.

So if Bloody Beetroots comes to town, be sure to catch their live show, and be sure to check out their 3rd album release as of October 20th, 2017 “THE GREAT ELECTRONIC SWINDLE.” Follow them on their website: www.thebloodybeetrootsofficial.com
