The London Suede Confirm North American Release Date For Album “Night Thoughts”

Today, legendary British band The London Suede confirmed a North American release date for their seventh studio album titled “Night Thoughts.” This highly anticipated full-length will be available digitally and in-stores nationwide CD+DVD from January 29th, 2016 via Rhino Records/Warner Brothers. The album will also be accompanied by a feature film directed by acclaimed photographer Roger Sargent – to be released on DVD – as part of a special album package. Pre-order “Night Thoughtshere. Watch the film trailer below:

Night Thoughts” was produced by long-time The London Suede collaborator Ed Buller and was recorded at SARM Studios in London and ICP in Brussels. Featuring a full string orchestra, “Night Thoughts” has received critical praise across shores, with The Evening Standard comparing the release to their “’94 masterpiece “Dog Star Man” alongside leading German rock magazine SPEX, who attest “Suede have recorded their best album since Dog Man Star.”

Last month, the band performed the full album alongside the film projected in its entirety against a backdrop at the London Roundhouse. The Telegraph hailed the event as “astonishingly inventive,” whilst NME observed that “Suede prove again and again that they’re one of those rare breed of bands that come along once in a lifetime, play by their own rules and consistently amaze,” also noting “audiences are left breathless and stunned.”

The band will be taking “Night Thoughts” on the road across Europe this winter into 2016. Tour dates can be found here.
