Mike Masch is from Ann Arbor, MI and is an American music producer-singer-songwriter. Growing up taking piano lessons at only 5 years old and listening to his dad’s classical music 8 tracks, he realized at an early age that music was a passion of his. It wasn’t until the teen years when those classical 8 tracks turned into a huge enjoyment for hip-hop music. He lived most of his life in Michigan and then to college that took him on a sensational journey that included living with musicians that helped share music theory, production, audio engineering, and introduced him to other genres of music that included the likes of Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Tool, Nirvana, The Cure, Pink Floyd, Alice in Chains…to name a few. Mike ultimately relocated, perfecting his musical talents in Philadelphia, PA. It was here that he furthered his education in music production & audio engineering, began work as a DJ, and attended countless showcases, concerts, and classes of various genres to hone his unique style of music. After discovering the limitless world of music production & all the avenues possible, Mike began working hand-in-hand with many talented musicians across the country. Now, looking to further his career as a solo artist and back in the Michigan area, Mike is releasing his second studio album in two years, which is his most focused and talented material yet. With such a wide range of influences, Mike is changing the game with a hip-hop fusion that consists of heavy undertones of electronica, classical, darkside, big beat, cinematic, and downtempo. Continuing to grow, doing different things, and epic creation is what this music is all about and it continues to inspire a new brand of conscious hip-hop and lyrical songwriting.
