And now there’s Remedy.

Who is your favorite female emcee? It’s a question that many will ask, and only few of this generation can answer beyond, well… Nicki Minaj. Surely there are more women in hip-hop then just the beautiful faces shaking a tail-feather in a Rick Ross or A$AP Rocky video, right? I’ve listened to hip-hop nonstop for years now, and due to the internet making nearly every song ever made accessible, I’ve stumbled upon a lot of hidden gems. This one in particularly, Remedy. This 26-year-old, North Carolina native, just released her EP, Endurance this summer. Upon release, Remedy sparked the attention of many with her single “Yikes”, and will capture the hearts of many more with her inspirational follow up, and my personal favorite, “Dream Killers”. Check out her video for “Yikes” and cop the EP, Endurance! This is definitely one that needs to be added to your playlist!
