STARSET Reveal 360 Lyric Video for New Song “Ricochet”

American cinematic rock outfit STARSET offers a new track today (January 6) from their upcoming new album VESSELS (out January 20 on Razor & Tie).  “Ricochet” follows songs “Monster” and “Back To The Earth” and is available with pre-order of the album.  The song is accompanied by a unique 360 degree lyric video conceptualized by STARSET frontman Dustin Bates.  It is directed by Denver Cavins and Bates.

Produced by Rob Graves (Halestorm, Red) and mixed by Ben Grosse (Breaking Benjamin, Filter), VESSELS is a data-stream rendered in sound, escaping the gravity of formula radio rock.  What began as a near-planetary collision of sound, vision and iconoclastic ideologies inspired by the likes of Nikola Tesla and Ray Kurzweil (AKA: The Father of Singularity), STARSET have taken a bold step forward with VESSELS.

VESSELS is the follow-up to STARSET’s 2014 Razor & Tie debut, Transmissions, a landmark album selling in excess of a quarter million combined albums, streams and downloads, and propelled by singles including the unforgettable “My Demons” (which spent an unprecedented 43 weeks scaling rock charts).

In support of VESSELS, STARSET will launch their U.S. headlining tour on January 14 in Flint, Michigan, with a hometown record release show in Columbus, Ohio set for January 20. The four-week outing–featuring direct support from Gemini Syndrome–will take Bates and his helmeted-and-pressure-suited crew, bassist Ron DeChant, guitarist Brock Richards and drummer Adam Gilbert, across the country, stopping in such cities as Chicago, Denver, Spokane, Reno, Scottsdale, Dallas, Houston, Baton Rouge, Baltimore and Pittsburgh with a Los Angeles show at The Roxy confirmed for January 31.

With over 300 shows logged to date, STARSET has distinguished themselves touring with the likes of Breaking Benjamin and In This Moment, playing major U.S. rock festivals and four sold-out performances in planetariums, becoming the first rock band to play live in the full dome entertainment environment. This spring, the band will return to Welcome To Rockville, Fort Rock, Carolina Rebellion, Northern Invasion and Rock On the Range, following their 2015 debut at all five of the annual rock events.  Tickets for all dates are on sale now and see below for full tour routing.
