Single Review: VX “Cold”

Tears stream down my face as I listen to the sorrowful strains of VX’s debut Single, “COLD.” This young artist, who draws inspiration from OutKast, Mobb Deep, Tupac, REM, and Nirvana, has crafted a masterpiece of melancholic melody and heart-wrenching lyrics that truly takes my breath away.

VX’s journey as an artist began in the bleakest of times – during the worst pandemic when the world struggled to hold on to hope. And yet, even amidst that darkness, he found solace and inspiration in the power of music to break down cultural barriers and form connections. As a young boy, he spent much of his years in southern India, where he fell in love with music for its ability to unite people and bridge divides.

“COLD” is a haunting reflection of VX’s struggles with love and loss. The song’s catchy melody belies its deeply emotional content as VX bares his soul and sings of the pain of failed relationships and the cold emptiness that can follow. The lyrics paint vivid scenes of heartbreak and loss as he reflects on how these experiences have altered his emotional outlook.

But this is not just a song of despair. It is also a call to arms, a battle cry for those who have felt the chill of heartbreak and the darkness of loss. As the song progresses, there is a sense of determination and resilience as VX’s voice rises and the anthemic beat takes hold, urging us to keep fighting and searching for connection and love despite the pain.

It starts with a somber tone, and as the lyrics speak of getting “dark and cold,” the melancholic soundscapes amplify hopelessness. But as the song progresses, there is a sense of determination as VX’s voice rises and the anthemic beat takes hold, urging us to keep fighting and searching for connection and love.

It’s hard to describe VX’s music’s impact on me. Each time I listen to “COLD,” I find myself transported back to my own experiences of heartbreak and loss, but there’s a sense of catharsis in the listening. VX’s lyrics are so raw and honest; it’s almost as if he’s put into words exactly what I’ve been feeling but couldn’t quite articulate. His music makes me feel seen, understood, and not alone in my struggles. I can’t help but be struck by the power of VX’s artistry, the way he takes something so personal and makes it resonate with so many others. I am genuinely in awe of his talent and can’t wait to see where his musical journey takes him next.

VX’s music is a valid art form, and “COLD” is just the beginning. Fans can expect more new music from this talented artist as he continues to develop his sound and hone his craft. Follow VX on social media for updates on his upcoming projects and to be a part of this emotional journey.
