Luke James Shaffer is back with an absolutely brilliant, must-hear EP. Volume One truly does not disappoint.

With his first single off of the EP “Last First Kiss” Luke James Shaffer swoons the hearts of hopeless romantics. His pure and raw vocals express his bittersweet feelings through vivid imagery in his lyrics. The singer-songwriter shares with us the moment he met his future wife and had his literal last first kiss. The hints of trumpet and layered backup vocals elevate this track from a typical Luke James’ kickback folk track to an upbeat, Americana ballad

Our personal favorite is Slow Down. This track so gentle and simple, and plucks at your heartstrings. We absolutely love the Ed Sheeran and Arthur James vibes the songs gives off.

Luke James Shaffer is able to offer a new twist on Americana and Indie-Folk genres. His take on creating music is very special. There are nothing but bright things on the horizon for him, and we are so excited to see where this musical journey will take him.
