To Kill A King have today released ‘The Good Old Days Acoustic EP’, five fresh acoustic recordings of songs old and new. As well as acoustic versions of recent singles ‘The Good Old Days’ and ‘The Problem Of Evil’, the EP includes songs from across the band’s catalogue – ‘Wrecking Crew’ from the 2011’s ‘My Crooked Saint EP’, and ‘Children Who Start Fires’ and ‘Musicians Like Gamblers Like Drunks Like Me’ from the Xtra Mile Recordings albums ‘Cannibals With Cutlery’ (2013) and ‘To Kill A King’ (2015) respectively.

Having recently played three consecutive London headline dates (at The Borderline, Oslo, and Omeara), To Kill A King are to return to their DIY roots with ‘Living Room Tour’, which will take in the UK and Europe throughout September and October 2017.

“There’s always been this other side to the band,” says TKAK’s frontman Ralph Pellymounter. “Though we’ve moved into a loud electric sound in this upcoming album, we started playing acoustic in people’s houses, so it’s nice to strip the songs back and see how they sound. If fans are generous enough to open up their homes to people, then we will fill them with our music.”

To apply for To Kill A King to come and play in their home, fans should email tkaktour@gmail.com with contact details, location and what type of event they have planned, and what the performance space would be like. The band also needs to know whether you’d be up for opening it up to other local fans, along with some dates that you’d be free in September or October.

To Kill A King: Ralph Pelleymounter (vocals, guitar), James Ball (bass), Ben Jackson (keyboards), Grant McNeill (guitar), and Josh Taffel (drums)
