Gallery + Review: You Me At Six at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA, 5/10/17

After a long three years You Me At Six finally graced North America with their presence once again. Their highly anticipated North American Tour made stops along the East Coast as well as the West Coast following the release of their fifth album, Night People. The second date of their tour stopped by the Middle East in Cambridge, MA, on May 10th.

Fans packed into the venue, where the show was opened up by locals, The Press War, as well as The Score, a band from Los Angeles.

As You Me At Six took the stage you could instantly feel the excitement. Everyone screamed as the title track off Night People began to play. The band soon began to play a mixture of old and new songs, much to the crowd’s pleasure. Playing fan favorites such as “Underdog,” “Bite My Tongue,” and “Fresh Start Fever.” You wouldn’t even guess that this band is used to playing larger arenas, they bring so much energy to their performance every time, even in intimate settings such as the Middle East. It’s like the fans never skipped a beat over the last three years since seeing the band last, screaming along to every word and jumping around with each other. They ended off the night with “Give” and “Room To Breathe.”

I can tell you one thing, when You Me At Six come back around, don’t sleep on them, go out to see them preform you definitely won’t regret it.

Make sure to keep up with the band by checking out their Facebook page and website!
