Echo Black Premieres “Perfect” ft. Telle Smith (The Word Alive)

Rock/pop band Echo Black is excited to announce the premiere of their new single “Perfect” featuring Telle Smith of The Word Alive exclusively on Alternative Press today! The four-piece went into the studio with Nick Scott (Blessthefall, Slaves, I See Stars, Crown The Empire, Miss May I) who had produced, mixed, and mastered the track. Adding Telle to the final product gave it the perfect theatrical feel. Fans can get a first listen now here:

When asked about “Perfect”, vocalist Danny Blu said: ‘Perfect’ means a lot to us. The vocal melody was written maybe 5 years ago. We broke it out when we were looking through ideas we all had for new tunes, and decided we wanted to explore it further. We knew the record was going to be something else when Telle from The Word Alive got on board. He’s a complete professional and really brought some magic to the song.”

Late last year, Echo Black teamed up with Revolver to premiere their debut music video for “Burn Another Day”. The track features Davey Suicide, who the band toured with last fall along with Combichrist and The Birthday Massacre. Danny asserted, “We are hungry and we are coming out with guns blazing”. Fans can check out the video now, here:

New York City-based rock/pop foursome Echo Black is comprised of members whose musical inspirations range from basement punk to Frank Sinatra, and everything in between. The boys credit their unique, catchy, pop-flavored sound to their writing process; echoing one idea off another and, bouncing components around until the song begins to speak to them. Danny Blu (vocalist) and Billy Long (drums, keys) have roots that go back as far as the high school marching band. They picked up Felix Skiver (guitar, vocals) and Rob Gnarly (bass, vocals) along the way and have been inseparable since. As if their blood-pumping music wasn’t enough, their live show is something you have to see to understand. Nothing short of an electrical storm of energy, Echo Black is not an act to be missed.
