Music Existence Because of Music, We Exist
As many of you know, I love music. Life is so much better with a soundtrack, and I am always on the lookout for a new artist with a new sound. Sometimes a new song will end up on my playlist by a recommendation from a friend, a mention on a blog, or something that I Shazam while listening to the radio. Whatever the inspiration for trying a new artist out, I make sure to take the time to listen to all of their music and then decide if it is worthy for my playlist.
This past week, one of my good friends Todd, tweeted that I should listen to Richard Holley’s music. I had never heard of this artist before, but all it took was a simple visit to RichardJosephHolley, his channel on Youtube, to get a taste of the music I had to look forward to.
The one thing that stood out to me after listening to a couple of his tracks was that most of the songs that he sung had a story to tell, and really a purpose. It wasn’t one of those fluffy songs you hear on the radio – these tunes had substance.
I continued to discover more about this artist and listened to even more tracks over at the Richard Holley music page.
I loved what I listened to.
