With a couple of Junos and certified Gold records under her belt, she’s amassed a dedicated ‘Lights Army’ (1.2 million Facebook fans, over half a million Twitter fans), including self-professed fans Miley Cyrus, John Mayer, and K’Naan among others. She’s also collaborated with Kaskade and Deadmau5.
Last week, Lights released her video for single ‘Up We Go,’ which Noisey called, “perhaps her biggest banger to date – sparkling, anthemic, amped up synth-pop.” It follows the video for intro track ‘Portal,’ deemed “the wanderlust song of the summer” by Refinery29.
She’s also the 2014 Artist Ambassador for Pinktober®, Hard Rock’s annual campaign for breast cancer awareness, and will be performing a special show in Times Square on September 30th before she heads out on tour. 18+ 7pm. Free with RSVP.
