Joe Bonamassa Brings 3 Kings Tour to New Jersey

Joe Bonamassa brought his 3 Kings Tour to New Jersey this past Saturday night at the PNC Bank Arts Center. This tour is unique and unlike Bonamassa’s regular shows. The 3 Kings Tours honors Freddie King, Albert King and B.B. King. Bonamassa plays a variety music from all three artists. In the collection of music selected for this tour, you’ll hear such songs as “Going Down”, which Joe Bonamassa played at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads in 2010. You’ll also hear the B.B. King classic “The Thrill Is Gone”.

The crowd at PNC Bank Arts Center was a mixture of new Bonamassa fans and older Bonamassa fans. I found the crowd to be interesting; it was nice to see a good amount fans from the younger generation enjoying the show.

Bonamassa’s backed by an impeccable arrangement of artists such as Anton Fig, Kirk Fletcher, Michael Rhodes and Reese Wynans. Wynans was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year as a member of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s “Double Trouble”.

Catch Bonamassa’s 3 Kings Tour out on the road through the end of August. Catching the tour might be a challegne as there are only 13 shows coast to coast. However, you’ll definitely enjoy these fantastic musicians honoring past blues legends.
