Tony & Gravel made a splash online when their folk punk anthem “Vodka & Heroin” went viral on TikTok, racking up over 3.3 million plays on the video. The duo has since signed to Columbus, Ohio’s Punkerton Records label, and has announced a DIY tour of the US!
A band of two best friends with nowhere to call home, Tony & Gravel are a traveling acoustic singer/songwriter duo. Gathering influences from all genres, including folk, old-timey Americana, and punk rock, Tony & Gravel have powerful, heartfelt lyrics with melodies that will get stuck in your head. They’re sometimes energetic, sometimes slow and somber, but always nihilistic, with a tinge of optimism.
The “Not Dead Yet” 2023 Spring Tour kicks off March 18th in Ohio and snakes around the country, ending May 3rd in DC. Along with the tour, Tony & Gravel have launched a limited edition vinyl release pre-sale through Punkerton. The vinyl release includes 4 extra songs including the demo version of Vodka & Heroin. It will be available in two variants. Black, which will be on 180-gram vinyl, and a Random Color Eco-Mix on 140-gram vinyl.
