Editor’s note: California post-punk quartet Bad Suns released their fourth studio album, Apocalypse Whenever, on January 28th. They celebrated the release by kicking off their US Tour in Albuquerque, NM. If that sounds like a strange place to start a national tour, it’s a nod to the symbol which graces New Mexico’s state flag, the Zia Sun symbol. Bad Suns have long used a near identical version of the symbol as the band’s logo. After the album release show and a brief stop in Phoenix, AZ the group returned home to Los Angeles to for two hometown shows at The Fonda Theatre. For the second of the two nights they were joined by T. Mills + Nick Gross collaboration girlfriends, and LA based duo more*. Our own Ashton Carr was at that very show, camera in hand. Check out their shots below now.
