Foals collaborate with Flight Facilities for “Wake Me Up” remix

Foals further build anticipation for their upcoming album as they today share a new “Wake Me Up” remix courtesy of the acclaimed Flight Facilities. This is the second collaboration between the two groups after Flight Facilities featured on Tim Fuchs’ remix of ‘Miami’ in 2010.

The remix proves that Flight Facilities are a perfect choice for the direction that Foals are taking with their new music. The Australian production duo play up the exuberant disco energy of the original, adventurously infusing elements of Detroit house and hip-hop rhythms with flourishes of funk.

Flight Facilities first came to attention in 2014 with their breakthrough track ‘Crave You’, which has exceeded 100 million streams. They released their long-awaited second album ‘FOREVER’ late in 2021, which Rolling Stone described as featuring “a litany of classics.”

They join a long list of influential dance and electronica artists who Foals have enlisted to uncover new angles to their music, joining the likes of RÜFÜS DU SOL, Solomun, Hot Since 82 and Purple Disco Machine. All of those remixes are featured in the compilation album ‘Collected Reworks’, which spans three volumes.
