Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?

Diana Ross, Lady Gaga, Lenard Bernstein, The Beatles, Earth Wind and Fire

What’s in your IPOD this week?

Christmas Music, Luther Van Dross, Dua Lipa, Lauren Diagle, The Weekend

How’s the music scene in your locale?

The music scene in my locale is great because I live in Los Angeles. There is always different kinds of groups and performers playing every day.

What do you like most about playing live?

I like to share how I feel about the music I sing with my audience and get their reaction. There      is nothing like the energy you get from a live crowd.

Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?

My favorite song is my latest Christmas single, “My Grownup Christmas List”. I love the arrangement on it recorded with the best musicians. The lyrics to the song have always been my prayers for the world. David Foster wrote this beautiful song that many other artists recorded.

What’s the best concert you’ve been to?

I have been to many tremendous concerts but the one that really stands out is when we went to hear Cold Play perform at the Rose Bowl! My family and I went together. I love music that relates to all ages.

If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?

Lady Gaga, She is not only very talented and beautiful but also very smart.

What are your goals for the future?

To continue to bring joy, hope and love to everyone through my music and performances. I also want to continue making a difference in the inner cities with the outreaches I have done with my husband called WOW JAM for the last 30 years. 1.4 million people have attended these street festivals where everything is free including, hot meals, bike repair, makeovers, haircuts, prizes, music, drama and thousands of boxes of groceries.
