Scars Remain Bring The Heavy On “Never Leave”

Hard Rock outfit Scars Remain has just dropped their latest single, “Never Leave“, a radio-ready, riff-heavy track that features a modern rock bounce, a great mixture of singing and screaming, and a sing-along chorus, ready to fill modern rock playlists and concert halls.

Never Leave is a song that really focuses on the questions that arise after ending a relationship,” says the band. “What type of relationship that is is left up to the listener to add their own angle on. Many times we are left with more questions than answers and this song highlights the internal dialogue that takes place in finding closure.

The track was mixed and mastered by Ken Lanyon. The band is also releasing a video for “Never Leave” soon with director Tyler Nottingham. “We were lucky to be able to work with Tyler Nottingham for our second video with him,” says the band. “We wanted an opportunity for our fans and people close with us to be featured and give a glimpse of a typical show day and hanging with our people. Tyler Does an excellent job of capturing these moments and capturing some of the best moments of a Scars live performance.”

Scars Remain is a Hard Rock band from Charlotte, NC. Even with plenty of experience under their belts, they still play with the same energy as when they first got together, continuously solidifying their foothold in the North Carolina scene.

Scars Remain was formed in 2017 by Travis Keziah (Vocals) and Kyle Spidel (Guitar), remnants of previous projects that had dissolved. The chemistry was immediate and was followed by the addition of Andy Allen (Bass) to hold down the low end who had been in projects with Kyle prior.  Fast forward to the latest additions of Neil Jackson (Guitar/Vocals) and Jim Clardy (Drums), Scars Remain is on the fast track to notoriety in their own right. The combination of Travis and Neil with soaring vocal harmonies, Kyle, Andy, and Neil with bone-crushing riffs, and Jim holding down the skins is one to pay attention to. The energy and emotion this group gives on stage really engages the audience and more so, you can feel a connection between them and their audience.

As an independent band, they have released 3 successful singles working with Pangea Productions, and another 2 acting as their own production, While playing with a plethora of national acts such as Silvertung, Saving Abel, The Veer Union, Puddle of Mudd, and Doyle, they have also appeared on numerous festivals including Operation Rock Fest, Carolina Uprising, and Metal Fest.
