BAD CHILD Announces Debut Album & Drops New Single

Canadian producer and singer-songwriter BAD CHILD has finally announced his full-length debut album Free Trial. The new album will be released on February 26th via 21 Entertainment and Universal Music Canada and will feature an ambitious 19 song track listing.

The long awaited album comes after BAD CHILD arrived on the festival circuit in 2019 making his performance debuts at iconic festivals like Lollapolooza, Glastonbury and Reading & Leads. After a series of EPs over the past two years, his new album will feature narrated voice over clips that guides each listener through the album experience.

Along with the album announcement comes his new single and lyric video for “$1,000,000.” Pulling inspiration from a variety of sonic influences, BAD CHILD lets his producer talents shine allowing the song to be chaotically distracting yet composed at the same time.

Describing the song he noted, “I wanted $1,000,000 to sound and feel like a corner store lottery, when I was a child I would go with my grandmother and pick-up scratch tickets and she would always say we would win big. The song is about love conquering everything – everything pales in comparison.” Check out “$1,000,000” below.
