Single Review: John Vento “America (When The Saints Come Marching Home)”

John Vento has been hard at work on his new project, Brick by Brick. The album will be released as a collection of singles, one at a time, slowly building up to create an entire album. The lead single, “America (When The Saints Come Marching Home),” will be released November 1st and will give fans their first glimpse of what’s to come from the record. Built around an acoustic guitar riff, “America” is a different feel for Vento who is known for his raucous, live band performances. Vento’s raspy vocals and songwriting prowess are, as always, on full display here. There’s a reason why John Vento is known as the hardest working musician in Pittsburgh, the music never stops.
