Single Review: See Your Shadow “My Worth”

Michael “The Metropolitan Cowboy” Coleman’s See Your Shadow Songwriting collective has returned to its roots. Having spent the better part of the past few years writing and recording primarily dance-focused tracks, the group has shifted their focus back to country. “My Worth” is a cascading instrumental track featuring smooth electric guitars, tight drums, and touch of plucky banjo. Sitting at the opposite end of the spectrum of their recent release, “I Will Tell Jesus You Said Hello,” where the band’s voices are the star of the show, “My Worth” is a display of pure musicianship from start to finish. A good old fashioned country jam, “My Worth” demonstrates the groups breadth of talent as musicians and is an exciting new feather in the cap for the band.
