The hit single, “Suicide Letter” is Skippy’s 4th release of the year. It’s an unbelievably real song that takes listeners into the dark reality of the everyday struggle he faces mentally. His smooth vocals allows the audience to feel the pain in his voice as they submerge themselves deeper into the song. The realism and accuracy of the lyrics in this song has managed to strike listeners all over the world deep in their hearts and allows them to feel every word in which the song encompasses.
When asked about how the song came about, this is what Skippy had to say, “I wrote this song about a month ago when I was in an extremely dark place mentally. The song was supposed to literally be a goodbye to all my fans and family. I attempted to overdose 2 days after writing this, but by the grace of God as well as my fans, I’m still able to be here today. And I’m forever thankful for that.”
