American Television Cover Operation Ivy’s “Officer” In Response to Police Brutality

DC’s American Television has turned the pandemic into a year of activism. Their cover of Operation Ivy’s “Officer” was recorded in response to police brutality that plagues the black community and now plagues Black Lives Matter protests across the country. The song was featured on Wiretap Records’ Attention! comp which raised money for the NAACP.

Additionally, in 2020 the band has raised money for Black Lives Matter, Equal Justice Initiative, Doctors Without Borders, the workers at their t-shirt printer (Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations), and before the pandemic, they took action during the Australian wildfires by raising money for WIRES.
