Dirty Honey Releases Latest Suitcase Sessions Video for “Down The Road”

L.A. based rock revivalists Dirty Honey are back with the latest installment of their Suitcase Sessions video series. Transforming their classic live staple “Down The Road” into an enchanting acoustic version, the band took to the hills earlier this month to record the track in front of the iconic Los Angeles skyline.

While the band had a breakout year in 2019, touring with everyone from Alter Bridge to Guns N’ Roses, they’ve had to put all recording plans on hold due to current travel restrictions across the globe. They have resorted to demoing new music with producer Nick Didia (Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine) via Zoom and will hopefully get to record a follow up to their 2019 EP Dirty Honey soon.

“Down The Road” is the latest installment from the band’s Suitcase Sessions and comes after a version of “Heartbreaker” was released earlier this spring. With global touring and recording currently at a standstill, Dirty Honey has used the power of social media to show fans what writing an album in quarantine looks like via their YouTube channel.
