All To Get Her Release Acoustic Version of “Disaster”

Swiss pop punk quartet All To Get Her is all about having a good time, as evident by the title of their debut album Cheesecakes and Earthquakes. Their shows are bouncing, sweaty parties that are designed to get you moving, but behind the raucous music, there are real emotions and feelings. That’s why the band decided to strip down their single “Disaster” for a special acoustic performance, to expose another side of their songwriting

We make music from our hearts and we do this to reach also the hearts of other people,” says vocalist/guitarist Tom Ebnöther. “With this acoustic version off our latest record, we wanna expose all these emotions and make it perceptible for everyone out there. Let’s get more intimate, closer and purer. Let’s get to know one another in a completely different way. It means a lot to us to disclose you this side of our band and we hope to touch you.

The original version of “Disaster” is an energetic tune with mosh-worthy melodies that was featured on Spotify’s “New Punk Tracks” and “Pop Punk’s Not Dead” playlists. In the re-imagined version, the band transform the single into a gorgeous, tender ballad, allowing you to hear an entire new level of harmonies that you might have otherwise missed.

All To Get Her officially formed in 2011 with Andrea Viciconte (Vocals / Guitar), Silvan Truniger (Drums), Eduardo Duft (Bass) and Tom Ebnöther (Lead Guitar). In November 2015 they went to Stuttgart (GER) for two weeks to record their debut EP Red Carpet, which led to opportunities to open for Four Year Strong, ROAM, Stand Atlantic and their childhood heroes Zebrahead.

In 2017 All To Get Her won the “Waldbühne-Contest” against over 200 other bands and were able to play at one of Switzerland’s biggest festivals “Gurtenfestival”. After appearances on radio shows all over Switzerland and Germany, the band released their debut full-length album Cheesecakes And Earthquakes in 2019.

Listen to the acoustic version of “Disaster” now on Spotify.
