Speculation On New Marilyn Manson Album

On February 22, Marilyn Manson posted on social media a cryptic message that has had everyone buzzing to the speculation of his new album.

The image appears to be some type of frequency wave that also appears to look a bit like Manson’s initials. A log with the image was a phrase in latin that reads “Omnes surdus es et nunc audite me…” that roughly translates to “All deaf and now you hear me…” Which could lead us to believe that there is new material in the near future. Manson also followed up the quote with several intriguing hashtags that read “#everyonewillsuffernow,” “#blacksabbathbornagain,” “#2020″ and “#youhavenoideawhatiscoming.”

The hashtags #2020 and #youhavenoideawhatiscoming both relevant to the speculation of new material coming this year and as we know Manson has been in the studio working alongside Shooter Jennings, but the following hashtags #blacksabbathbornagain #antichristsuperstar read slightly different message. We know that Manson’s next album to be released will be his 11th studio album and Black Sabbath’s Born Again was their eleventh studio album and Manson’s Antichrist Superstar album is celebrating its 24th anniversary this year, but what does all this really mean.

With Ozzy being forced to cancel his No More Tours 2 tour do to his current health that would have featured Marilyn Mason as direct support for the Prince of Darkness, one thing is for certain, there is no Black Sabbath reunion tour in the works that could possibly see the Pale Emperor joining the bill, but could there possibly be some sort of collaborative surprise brewing between the two camps? Now with that being said this is something that could lead right back to the hashtag #youhavenoideawhatiscoming.

The reality of it all is we don’t really know much about what is coming, what we do know is back in April of last year while on SiriusXM’s Trunk Nation LA Invasion with Rob Zombie discussing the upcoming Twins Of Evil Hell Never Dies Tour, Marilyn had mentioned that his upcoming album was more than halfway completed.

The following July, in an interview with Revolver Magazine, when asked about the new record, Manson stated that he wouldn’t compare his new record to any of his other albums.

“I’m in a mode in life where I wanted to tell stories with this record, and it’s sort of like a wax museum of my thoughts, a study of the chamber of horrors in my head,” said Marilyn. “All the romance and hope you can have in the world, here in the End Times where it can be a different kind of apocalypse for each person listening to the record.”

“I tried to paint it with words, and Shooter with sounds, so you can see and hear all of your longing, your passion and despair.

“That’s sort of a dramatic explanation of it! But it is full of drama. I wouldn’t compare it to any of my other records, but you hear a bit of everything. It’s like I’ve focused everything into one spot, finally.”

Whatever it is that Manson has in store for us, one thing is for sure we better get ready!!!
