Single Review: Kristen Karma – “Dear John”

Kristen Karma is the perfect entertainer in an industry saturated with repetitive styles. Her background in ballet and band ensure she has an understanding of the theory behind her music, while her love for pop and dance music shine through into her new sound. The Vancouver starlet now resides in Toronto where she now is constructing her latest project.

Her new single “Dear John” will sure excite any listener for her upcoming work, as the three-minute masterpiece illustrates everything to love about the singer-songwriter. Her sprawling vocals fill out all of the remaining space the booming instrumental leaves and resound throughout the composition. Karma’s voice could carry a room, and she effortlessly glides across while reminiscing on a lost loved one as she hopes they are proud of the woman she has become. With records like this, it is easy to see why Kristen Karma is on her way to being one of the biggest names to come out of Canada this year!
