Live Review + Gallery: Don Broco at Brighton Music Hall in Boston, MA (09.12.19)

Don Broco kicked off their first ever North American headlining tour in Boston this month at Brighton Music Hall along with Selfish Things, The Home Team, and Seep On It.

It was a night of firsts: first headline show in North America, first sold out headlining show, first time ever playing “Action” live, etc. It was an amazing set. They kicked their set off strong by parting the crowd into a “wall of death” during the very first song, “Pretty,” as well as a circle pit in their third song, “Superlove.”

The band continued their energetic fourteen song set with a mix of old and new songs. Frontman Rob Damiani joked about how the first shows of usually have more shit go wrong.

In true headliner fashion, they left the stage leaving fans wanting a few more songs. Don Broco took the stage again after minutes of the crowd cheering them on, and played an encore of two fan favorites: “Come Out To LA” (which had yet another wall of death!) and “T-Shirt Song,” which always encourages everyone to “Take your t-shirts off [and] swing them around your head” which always gets everyone excited. A very fitting way to end the night on a high. Boston is definitely excited to have Don Broco come back for more.
