The third Alt 98.7’s Summer Camp was once again held in Long Beach, California, bringing together some of the biggest acts in alternative music as well as some amazing up-and-coming artists.
While it’s hard to pick out standout acts among a stage full of incredible bands, some highlights included Half Alive and their now-famous dance moves (complete with backup dancers!), K.Flay‘s passionate and fun set, the way Grouplove was able to get the crowd moving, and Walk the Moon’s usual high-energy performance. Other bands include Oliver Tree, Shaed, The Interrupters, lovelytheband, Cold War Kids, Phantogram, The Head and the Heart, and Of Monsters and Men.
Overall, the one-day festival appeared to be a huge success: fans looked to be having a great time during every set, the view of Long Beach was amazing, and (thankfully, especially in Southern California) it wasn’t too hot.
