ICYMI: Echosmith’s first taste of new music in 2019 – “Favorite Sound”

While much of the buzz in 2019 is about the Jonas Brothers reunion, there’s another sibling band that’s making some noise under the radar, California indie pop group Echosmith. Originally formed as a quartet of siblings, the band currently consists of Sydney, Noah and Graham Sierota, following the departure of eldest sibling Jamie in 2016. Their debut LP, Talking Dreams dropped in 2013 and was anchored by the monster multi-platinum single “Cool Kids”.

Their latest release “Favorite Sound” – a collaboration with electronic artist Audien – came out March 28th.

With its empowering and uplifting message that we can overcome the negative voices in our heads and that it’s okay to ask for help when struggling with things like self-doubt, anxiety or depression, “Favorite Sound” is a great song to check out, especially during May’s Mental Health Awareness month.
