What happens when rock royalty and a movie icon descend upon Las Vegas? The Hollywood Vampires! The band recently kicked off a small run of performances, with opening night taking place at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Named after Alice Cooper’s old Sunset Strip drinking club with long gone friends, The Hollywood Vampires live on in current form led by Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp. Rounding out the Vampires lineup are Chris Wyse, Buck Johnson, Tommy Henriksen, and Glenn Sobel.
While traditional vampires may suck the life force out of an individual, The Hollywood Vampires did the exact opposite and gave the crowd an amazing high energy performance from beginning to end. Whether it was Alice Cooper ripping through his signature songs, Depp wonderfully covering David Bowie’s “Heros”, the collaboration belting out other classic covers, or the band’s own originals, the night was simply incredible to be a part of.
